Our school is the largest elementary school in our inner city district. We have over 800 students in grades K-5. My second graders are active and full of energy. They have a passion for school and love to learn! Over the course of the last few years, our school community has made an effort to give our students options to learn out of their chairs. We've incorporated the Daily 5 into our reading instruction which allows the children to find alternative spots in the classroom to read and practice reading skills.

About my class
