My classroom is a fun, energetic learning environment. 2nd grade is such an important year in a child's educational journey. I want to build a strong foundation for each of my students so they may move forward and have successful school careers. I have children that need to be challenged with enrichment activities, as well as students that need intensive intervention. My school is a Title 1 school, meaning a large percentage of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Many of my students live in poverty and come to school not only to learn, but to be loved and experience things they don't have access to at home. It is my goal to make my classroom as appealing and inviting as possible. By funding this project, my students will get a chance to experience using technology they might otherwise not have access to.
