I am a first grade teacher and I am continuously wanting to expose my students to various forms of learning in and out of the classroom. My students will never know a time when the internet or computers weren't an integral part of their everyday learning. I want to make this learning fun by maximizing the use of the electronics that they already use on a consistent basis. My goal is to expose my students to an educational tool that will allow learning to be continued outside of the classroom and give the students an opportunity to further delve in to areas of their own interest. In the words of Dr. Seuss "You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself, any direction you choose". My hope is that, with my guidance, my students will choose to steer themselves into the unknown and learn something new, that plants a seed for further exploration and discovery.
