The students in my classroom do not have the opportunity to use technology at home. I have three classroom computers, but iPads will give them the chance to connect with technology everyday. Our school district provides some licenses to quality language arts and math programs. These iPads will give every student the chance to use that technology daily. In my classroom, I have refugee children who have little exposure to the English language. By using iPads and language arts programs, they have the opportunity to catch up with their peers and learn our language. As a teacher, I use my computer, phone, iPad, and other technology daily. I know how important those technical skills are for both my personal and professional life. I fear that my students will be left behind if they do not interact with current technology daily.
