We are located in a rural area of Southern West Virginia. Our community relies heavily on the coal mining industry, which is currently suffering from many layoffs. Many of our students come from coal mining families and many are living in poverty. However, our school works hard to provide students with opportunities to express themselves, find their strengths and grow as individuals!
