The sticky note grids and bright post it notes allow students to make math more visual. We are working to make our classroom more student-centered. The requested materials will allow students to take a more personalized approach to learning math. A path that acknowledges where they are and works to move them in a positive direction. Working with patterns is a significant component of our coursework. A critical component of patterns is 'seeing.' The grids allow students to integrate how they see the pattern with their words and numerical analysis. The bright post it notes would add color and help to make their mathematics come alive!
