I am a high school English teacher, and I love my job! My passion is sharing my love for literature with my students. I teach my students to look at life differently and question their own thinking. Reading is my favorite thing, and I want it to be a favorite for my students. Independent reading provides an escape, teaches empathy, and instills new information and experiences in the reader. Providing the opportunity and resources to students is key to strengthening their reading lives.
