One of the largest schools in our district, we service 1700 students, over 95% of which are minority students. 76% of current students are free and reduced lunch eligible which means they live below the poverty level. Many students do not have access to technology at home. School is their only chance for exposure to current technology. Students love technology and embrace the chance to work with technology. The more tools students are exposed to, the more prepared they will be for the future. This will be a great first step for them. My students need 2, 3D printers for the classroom and for a maker space.
