Each day we have an hour of small group time. During this time some of the students are working with me or an aide, and some of my students are to be working independently. These ear muffs will give some of my students another tool to help them stay on task and continue to be productive. The ear muffs with help students who are sensitive to noise, are easily distracted or just want it a little quieter. When my students have the option to block out some extra noise then they seem to produce higher quality work. The ear muffs will be available to students during independent working times. Also, they will be available to sensory sensitive students anytime during the day.
