I have 22 chairs, 22 desks and 22 first grade students who sit eagerly in them each day. These students are innovated, clever, diverse and unique in every way. They are ready to learn and can't wait to investigate. We each have "superpowers" or skills that we view as our strengths. As a class we have combined our powers to collaborate and work as a team. Even though I have a diverse classroom, everyone is included and their strengths are shown through their hard work. We also focus on improving the concepts that we struggle with. We know that is okay to make a mistake, as long as we work hard to fix the problem. We are constantly learning social skills and real life skills in our classroom. Team and collaboration have became a theme is our classroom and school. Our students work together to become the leaders of tomorrow. Our school motto is to safe, respectful and responsible. We live this everyday and strive to be better.
