Students are placed here because of behaviors that are so severe that they have to be removed from the regular school setting. These students are lacking life skills as well as basic academic skills. Giving them tools to be successful in the regular school setting is one of our school's goals. Reading at their grade level is one skill that many of my students lack. Convincing them that the more they read, the better readers they become has been a struggle.

About my class
