The graphic novels that I will be using will help my low readers to be more engaged with reading and help with reading comprehension. The Spanish books and graphic novels will meet the needs of my ELL learners which few do not speak English. The books of interest such as Alex Rider Set, Kwame Alexander books, Doll Bones by Holly Black, and Runs with Courage by Joan M. Wolf represents the diversity of students that I have and their interests. I have noticed their has been an increase of students coming to school with anxiety and concentration issues; therefore purchasing stress balls and marble meshes will help alleviate this. In addition, I need materials that will simply help the everyday function of my classroom such as headphones and a pencil sharpener.
