Since I am an occupational therapist, I provide therapy to students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Each of my students have their own personalities which makes each session unique and enjoyable. However, they all learn differently! Some face many learning challenges due to various diagnosis such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), and Intellectual Delay (ID). Other students struggle with muscle weakness, anxiety, and sensory integration difficulties. We are lucky to attend an elementary school where the administration, staff, and parents work together to achieve the same goal, to provide all students with the opportunities and support to attain the highest standards and expectations for learning within a safe and nurturing environment. Our school serves over 700 students and offers ICT and 12:1:1 classes in grades K through 5.
