My students have been working very hard during the school closure. They have been working and completing work on Seesaw, Raz Kids, XtraMath, and IXL. My students would benefit from me having an iPad that allows me to talk with them, create video lessons, and teach them virtually in a Google Hangout Meet. As a mom of 4, it is often difficult to spend the time I would like to meet with my class because we all share 2 Chromebooks. This project will give me technology that will allow me to utilize the different virtual tools to help support my students and increase their remote learning experiences. I will be able to do Google Meets where I can teach and review concepts with the students. I can do read-alouds to my class with eBooks that I cannot get hard copies of, and I can make seesaw recordings! The keyboard/case will allow me to transport the iPad back and forth between home and school. This will allow me to continue creating lessons for students for when we see each other in person, and if we continue distance learning. The iPad will also be a great tool for my struggling students to use in the classroom when I can add learning apps to it!
