My students are a wonderful group of young Scholars that are overcoming many struggles in their lives living in the city of St. Louis. Almost all of them come from low income single family homes. They work hard every day and love learning despite the circumstances around them both at home and school. A majority of my Scholars are below grade level but they are grateful for the opportunities they have received this year.
