Books are a staple in a first grade classroom! Each day my students are reading and growing and it is important to have books that are at their reading level that will challenge them and encourage them to become better readers. This is my first year teaching first grade and I am in need of a classroom library that will support my students as they grow as students. Many times throughout the day students are asked to read texts. When they go to my current classroom library they find books that are below their reading level and don't engage their interest. My students are finishing the texts quickly and loosing their interest in books and their love of reading. This classroom set will challenge my students with texts that are engaging and bring them a true joy of reading and learning.
