Music class is tuneful, artful and, most of all, joyful! In a typical music class, we share instruments and materials like rhythm sticks, scarves, and puppets. Rhythm sticks are used to practice steady beat and tempo, scarves are used to explore movement, and puppets are used for imaginary play and fine motor skills. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we will not be able to share instruments and materials necessary for music class. In order to keep music class as "normal" as possible, I would like to create individual music kits for each student who returns for face-to-face instruction. We will use wooden dowels for rhythm sticks and googly eyes for our puppets. This project will give all face-to-face learners the opportunity to keep the music going!
