I have a first grade classroom with many students with sensory issues. Many students are from low-income families and the only services they receive are within the hours of the school day. The class ranges from twenty to twenty-five students. The school has about three hundred students total and we are a kindergarten through fifth building. We are limited on resources to meet sensory needs and our school has a growing number of students who have been identified with sensory issues that need to be addressed within the walls of the classroom.
