Many of my students live in public housing or poor neighborhoods. These students' families can barely afford life's survival necessities like food and clothing. Our school sends backpacks filled with food home with some of our students. Many students lack parental support or encouragement. Our school is a Title I school with a loving and caring staff that often buy many supplies out of their own pockets. Our district is trying to incorporate more technology in the classrooms. Our class recently received iPads that we could use the Osmo with, but we don't have funds to purchase the Osmo.
