My students are a very energetic group to say the least. I teach three different levels of math on a daily level. Within these classes I teach regular education students, special education students, and students on 504s. In years past I have also taught ELL students, but do not currently have any this year. My school is the largest middle school in the state servicing close to 1300 students. We are a 6-8 school and run with a cluster model. Currently there are 5 clusters in grade 6, 8 and 4 clusters in the 7th grade. 12% of our school is Hispanic, 21% are ELL and 20% are special education students. 470 of our students are also low-income.
