We are in an impoverished part of downtown LA and my students are from low income, 1st generation families. Its important that we celebrate the arts and give the students an outlet to be creative. We are a converted storage unit and do not have an auditorium and are under a freeway overpass which is very noisy and need the mics to be able to hear the students project their voices. My students deserve the same resources other students have and these pics will help boost their confidence as well as help their performance.
