During my eight years of teaching, I have realized that the needs of my students vary greatly. However, they have one thing in common. That is the need to be in control of their environment. My students were not meant to sit in a chair for eight hours. I am trying to meet their needs and give them a sense of control and empowerment over their own environment. This year I feel that I want to offer them different arrangements that will support their learning while being safe during the pandemic.
