My students are English language learners who are below grade level readers. We are a Title 1 school due to the high amount of kids in poverty. I want my kids to have access to various reading materials and prepare them for high school. My students are motivated about current events, and we discuss current events when something important happens. This subscription would give them the opportunity to be exposed to global issues.
