I am hoping to do my part to expose my students to the anti-racism movement by exploring other ideas and cultures. I want to take advantage of the momentum that the Black Lives Matter movement has on the country right now and use it. I want to expose my kids to a variety of cultures, genres, and people through the use of books. I have selected a variety of books would provide a much wider variety of topics the students can read about and learn from. I am hoping to have these books lead to some great discussions this year.

About my class
