These materials will allow me to create a more comfortable environment throughout our classroom where we spend the entire day. My student's will love to pick out their own seat and I know it will help them focus and stay engaged! The bean bag chair will allow students to read comfortably in our classroom library. Wobble stools, space ball seats, flex-cushions will offer different seating options throughout our classroom. My student's need to move! Many of my students struggle with staying focused due to their learning disabilities. Providing flexible seating will help my students stay engaged. Research suggests that flexible seating can have positive effects on classroom community, student's physical health, classroom collaboration and student's commitment to learning. I can't wait to see the positive effects in my classroom!
