Our school is located in Oklahoma City and we have students with many hardships in their personal lives. Kids use the library and our resources as a way to getaway from everything negative in their life. Other than improving reading comprehension skills, the library serves as a place where all students are welcome and accepted. The library attracts many different students. In the library, you could find the jock, the band kid, the intellectual, and the video game expert, all discussing the newest graphic novels at the library. Even though these kids seem very different, they all enjoy a love of reading, which is something to be nurtured at this age.
