The students in my classroom are in an urban setting, often faced with challenges beyond their control. For some of them, school is a place to feel safe and stable. It is my job to be there for them, academically, physically, and spiritually. They are so eager to learn and please others. In kindergarten, we develop rules and routines that can be carried on with them throughout their school career. To have access to current technology would help them to feel comfortable in a world where technology is a great asset. I have high expectations for my students, and with various standardized testing situations, utilizing an iPad will aid them in building confidence with computers.

About my class
