My students use laptops, and they would love to hear the computer programs that we use and learn from. However, with so many students, the sound is too much and difficult for students to focus on their own learning. Headphones would help with each student being able to hear their own computer and stay focused on what they are working on and not be distracted by their classmates' progress. Our classroom is full of amazing students who want to learn using their computers and the various programs offered to them. Many of them are on free or reduced-price lunch and do not have the basic supplies necessary to come to school with. These students do not have the opportunity to work or learn with technology at home. In class, they learn to use technology as a tool for learning and preparing them for a technologically advanced future with 21st century job skills.
