Reading is a huge focus in my classrooms. Most of my students are struggling readers and are therefore below their grade level in reading. In cultivating and nurturing a love of reading, the goal is to have an inviting designated area in the classroom where students can sit and read together. This project will provide an area for the students to sit, whether it is on the carpet or in a floor seat or wobble cushions . The flexible seating will definitely be a welcome gift to my students who have a difficult time sitting still because of their disabilities. I have also requested various educational posters and a welcome banner to display in my classroom.
