Note-taking (or the ability to discern/identify important ideas and takeaways as one reads and/or learns) is a life-long skill. Interactive notebooks can help our kiddos organize the information they learn, promote long-term retention of important skills, and provide concrete artifacts for students to recognize and appreciate their evolving writing skills! Since many of our students have inconsistent access to Chromebooks during the school day, these notebooks are intended to anchor meaningful and engaging learning experiences. Students will record their thoughts, questions, journal entries, and exit tickets within them using the class set of mechanical pencils and highlighters.
