This project is focused on two different classroom community aspects. My focus this year is on creating a classroom environment that students are excited to come into everyday. The first way I encourage my students to be part of our classroom community is through academic free choice time at the end of each day. This project will let students receive a few different academic games that they can play with their classmates during this time such as the fraction games. This not only reinforces our content, but also encourages collaboration and communication among my students. Finally, my classroom theme is cactus and succulents, so I have chosen a few different items to spruce up our classroom. These items make it exciting for students to come in everyday and have a theme that ties them all together.
