My students are fantastic. We live in an area that could be considered high poverty. Many students in our school are on the free and reduced lunch program. In the band, many of the woodwind students use school owned instruments due to the cost related to playing in band and purchasing and maintaining some of the larger instruments, such as bass clarinets, baritone saxophones, and tubas.
