I am a 5th grade teacher at a high poverty school in an urban school district. The school I teach in has a 93% free/reduced lunch rate. I am a reading teacher that sees about 40 students, every day. My students need access to as many books as possible. My goal is to help my students figure out what kinds of books they like to read so that I can help them grow a love for reading. My goal will always be to provide my students the greatest access to books that I can. Whether it be by providing them with a safe, cozy place to read, adding new title sections to our classroom library, or developing a better organization system. Please help my 5th graders! They are our future, we can make it bright.
