I work for a wonderful school district, but it is one of many districts that are struggling to provide classrooms with a variety of materials. One of my students favorite centers is the art center. It is a chance for them to be in control of a project and use their imagination, which isn't always the case in Kindergarten anymore. They are so proud when they invent something out of a variety of art supplies or when they display their paintings in the classroom for others to enjoy. It is amazing some of the ideas they come up with in the art center. They truly do inspire each other!
