This is the year I want to ensure that my students have the opportunity to become astronomers. Anyone who has taken an astronomy class can relate in saying that one of the most exciting and engaging parts is peering through the lens of a telescope. I want to be able to give my students this opportunity that they are currently missing out on. My students come from a diverse high school with just under three thousand students. They are eager to participate in hands- on astronomy. Students have been persistently asking "When are we going to do a lab Mr. Marvin?" Your donation will allow my students to have this experience.
