Our science students use thermometers for a wide variety of experiments. From measuring soil temp in environmental science, and plotting heating/cooling curves in chemistry to determining which group has designed and built the best insulator in physics class. Each of these classes has a need for accurate temperature measurement. Vernier temperature probes are a necessity for logging accurate temperature data, while also allowing student scientists the ability to make other observations about the experiment or project that they are performing. While not the cheapest option, these probes are similar to what college-bound students will see and use when they advance to college, or the work force.
