Students learn best through play, inquiry and collaboration. With a variety of colorful paper and pen choices, my 5th grade students will be able to create fun, vibrant posters, foldables and brochures in Social Studies. They will be able to record observations as they read and publish memoir books to share and display in the library. Writing papers is instrumental in the sharing part of their learning. Having creative writing materials will make the writing process even more exciting as students publish and share their memoirs and personal narrative books. The writing materials will help increase the writing levels of my students. With a variety of new books, all students will be successful during independent reading as they will have books that interest them. With flexible seat options, like the disc, students become more engaged in activities and on stay on task while being comfortable in their environment. It is my aim to provide the materials they need to accomplish this goal all while having fun! The students bring the desire, so we need to provide the necessary tools. Your help is greatly needed and appreciated by all!
