This rug, in calming colors, will provide my students with a designated and comfortable space for whole group and small group activities. It will provide us with a place to learn, communicate, and grow on. The carpet also has designated "leaf" spots to help students understand personal space. Research shows that it is best practice to have a comfortable space for the whole class to gather. While the space is already designated, this carpet will really define the space and make students feel more at home and safe, rather than sitting on tile. This rug will make our classroom feel warm and inviting.

About my class
