My students are awesome, of course! I teach in a high school that has about 105 students, most of whom live in rural areas. Our district has just built a brand new high school and the students are taking great pride in it. We also have a new Student Leadership Course this year for juniors and seniors. As part of this class, one of our goals is to improve our campus's communication between students, teachers, administrators and our community. My students are constantly searching for ideas with this goal in mind. As they work on projects for this goal, they are learning how to work together as a team, one of the most important skills they will need after graduation.

About my class
