Our students range in ages from 5-11, many of who have not been in what many adults would call "normal social settings" to learn how to manage their emotions, interact and socialize with peers and have appropriate reactions to triggers due to the pandemic. This age range is fundamental for understanding and managing emotions even without the impacts of a global pandemic. With these activities and resources, like the coping game board, our students will be able to work together or independently to learn and manage their emotions and build healthy relationships. These activities make difficult topics easy to discuss and understand. Building intrinsic motivation for appropriate behaviors in and out of the classroom.
