By using websites such as Mobymax, Prodigy, and Mastery Connect, my students are able to receive extra learning through these educational websites. The headphones will cut out distractions during learning times, but also allow students the freedom to play mathematical games if they finish work early. My students with learning disabilities and English Language Learners will greatly benefit from the headphones because the lessons or stories will be read aloud to them. They will not feel excluded or exposed on their personal struggles. As upcoming mathematicians, learning to utilize calculators to master their learning goals is essential! My students have the privilege of using calculators in 6th grade! It is an opportune time to prepare them how to correctly use calculators to prepare them for college!
