I work as an Itinerant Resource teacher and this year I am working with students that receive special education services at two elementary schools. I work with students that have Individual Education Programs (IEP) inside the general education setting or outside in a small group. My schools are classified as Title 1, and many of the students do not have access to technology at home. My students benefit from small group instruction and differentiated instruction. They also benefit from having continuous feedback to ensure they are learning new skills and practicing them in a caring, encouraging small environment. I strive to help all students access their grade level curriculum, so that they can become resilient learners and continue to progress in the school setting.
