My students are incredible, unique individuals. They are future intellectuals, movers, shakers, and world changers-- they are fighters. They come from incredibly diverse backgrounds across Chicago, and several of my students come from immigrant families from places as distinctly different as Rwanda, Cuba, Mexico, and Jamaica (to name a few). Many of my students will be the first in their families to graduate high school, let alone college. I'm inspired by them every day as I watch them push themselves both in and out of the classroom. They are curious, driven students who deserve every educational opportunity. Our school is a tight-knit community of individuals looking to constantly improve for the benefit of our students. The staff members at our school work tirelessly to provide a rigorous and enriching educational experience for our students, but our capabilities are sometimes limited by what we are financially able to provide.
