My students, in many cases, have not had exposure to broader parts of the surrounding world. They often have not been exposed to varying perspectives of wealth, economy, personality, and the presentation of information in a unique and out-of-the-box fashion. My students would appreciate the down-to-earth writing and wildly entertaining examples presented in this book as they learn about economics. This text has a lot more to engage students than the dry textbook. Economics is more than just balancing a checkbook and figuring out credit card interest rates. I am trying to get my students to think of economics as something that is constantly occurring around them locally and globally.
