Our school is located in a small rural community and is a Title One School. 59.4% of our students receive free/reduced lunch. I have a vivacious group of 21 kindergarteners who love learning. They look forward to their literacy and math rotations daily. During rotations, they have a choice in exploration using manipulatives, reading, working with partners, word work, writing, listening to reading and computer time. Our classroom is a community of learners who seek and desire to become more technologically savvy. Many of my kindergarteners have little to no access to technology. Kindergarteners need interaction with technological tools. I want to provide hands-on interactive activities for my students to learn and practice skills while teaching to their various learning modalities. Due to limited resources and funds, I only have 3 computers in my classroom for 21 students to use. This limits the amount of time students are implementing technology into their learning.
