Most of my students receive free lunch. Most of them are from Central American families, many of them live in crime dominated neighborhoods. Our school has great leadership and the potential to guide its students to new understandings of the world and what they can contribute to it. Many of these kids first generation Americans who are struggling to become proficient in English. It's a great school and this project is a wonderful way to help some of these students.
