I'm sure that every teacher says it but my students ARE the best in the world. They ask question that every teacher wants to hear..."Why?" When I explain a subject or a phenomenon, they always want to know the science behind it or why it happens. They are truly little sponges that just want to soak up knowledge and experience. Their goals and aspirations for life are astounding and I can not wait to see what the future hold for them. My school is a choice magnet school with four different academies that teach curriculum through a "lens" that best reaches each student. Our academies are: Engineering, Entertainment, Entrepreneurial and Exercise Science. Our students have to choice to leave their "home school" and come to a school whose sole focus is academics. As of now, we do not offer athletics, although the students can still play for their home school. Therefore, it is easy to say that students who choose to come here are truly invested in their academic future.
