Think back to the time you learned mathematics. How did you learn best? My students are eager mathematicians who benefit deeply from small group discussions. A tool for small group discussions is the small dry erase board and more importantly...markers. I am a 7th grade pre-algebra teacher and my students are in a high-need community. We work very hard to achieve proficiency in math for all students.
