The benefits of drumming with small children are becoming increasingly more well known. Not only do children learn the beat and rhythm while drumming, as you would expect, they grow in so many other ways. Drumming helps children learn to focus and concentrate, they improve their hand-eye coordination, they develop their social skills, they learn to communicate, they improve their self esteem, and most importantly they have fun! These REMO drums will give the students at my school the beginnings of a fabulous drum circle. We will take turns playing and keeping the beat as we have fun with movement and rhythm. We will also be using our drums in learning about character education and social skills.
