Academic learning has been greatly impacted by COVID-19. All students need extra support and encouragement in the classroom. My students are growing their love of reading in my classroom. Students respond well to a print-rich environment and learn best when they are engaged. Increasing student access to text will help me advance their reading skills. I strive to have a robust and diverse classroom library so that there are books to engage every type of reader in my classroom. I want my students to have books with characters that are like them. I want my students to have books about topics that they enjoy. I want my students to love reading!
